SKA Hockey Club Opening Show
Part 1
Part 2
SHAR Production created two finished films for SKA Hockey Club’s opening show. Icy St Petersburg, team colours and a horse motif lead into the hockey action in the arena.
Brief
Create a visual sequence for SKA Hockey Club’s season opening show. The city, ice, hockey and horse motif had to read clearly from the stands.
Approach
We developed several visual directions and assembled two parts. The first moves through icy St Petersburg, red and blue light trails and a herd led by a flaming horse. The second takes that energy into the player, arena and a goal sequence.
Outcome
Two finished films were prepared in four days. The published cuts run for 46 and 30 seconds. Subject scale and motion were designed for the arena screen.

Small details disappear on arena screens. The horse, player, puck and light trails stay large enough to read, with motion that remains clear at a distance.
